04 / Questions

Asked often.

Is there an upfront joining fee?

Yes, a single fee of £2,500, refundable in full within the first twelve months if the club is not for you.

How long is the waiting list, really?

About fourteen months for Full, six for Under 35. The list is a queue, not a lottery: you move up in the order you enquired.

Can I play before I apply?

Yes. Every applicant plays two rounds as a guest of the secretary. Visitor days are also open to the public in summer.

Do I need a handicap?

A World Handicap System index is required for competitions only. We will help you register one if you do not have it.

What about children and families?

Under-18s play free with a member on weekday afternoons, and the junior clinics run every Saturday morning from April to September.
